Someone is killing the patents of psychiatrist Tess Ciccotelli, making them commit suicide, and then framing Tess. Bound by her confidentiality oath, Tess is limited in how much information she can give the police, even when her life is in danger. Hurt before by the police, she doesn't count on the attraction she begins to feel for the detective in charge of her case.

Detective Aidan Reagan, resentful and angry at Tess for giving testimony that allowed a criminal to go free, sees a different side of Tess as he becomes more involved in her case. While Aidan is frustrated at Tess's unwillingness to hand over pertinent information, he admires her ethics. That admiration turns to an even deeper emotion as he realizes that her loyalty and sacrifice for others extends into every area of her life

You Can't Hide delivers a fast-paced exciting read, full of wounded, believable characters. Once again Karen Rose draws her audience into the story and holds them until the very end. You Can't Hide is a long book, yet the constant tension, combined with new twists and turns held my attention. The sub plots added to the suspense and characterization giving even more depth to the story.

Armchair Interviews says: You Can't Hide is one book you will want to read.
