The Sun is My Favorite Star is a simple, yet fun story about a child sharing why the sun is the favorite star. It shares, in a cheerful matter what the sun does each day in a cute little story sure to please most 3- to 7- year olds. My little girls gathered around to hear this tale, and it held their interest the whole way through. The pictures are colorful and holds the children’s attention, as does the simple wording.

The Sun is My Favorite Star wasn’t quite what I expected. I thought it would be more educational, telling young children a lot of information about the sun. Instead, the approach is non-threatening, friendly, and yet does manage to get the point across that the sun is an important part of our life.

The Sun is My Favorite Star is not to be missed. Pick this up for your favorite young child today.
