This study Bible is designed for those who want to give a good defense of their faith – what they believe and why. It will help the reader answer important and life-shaping questions like:

Can I know that God exists?

Was I created by God or by a random evolutionary process?

How strong is the evidence for Jesus’ resurrection?

Is the Bible reliable and true?

Is there life after death?

Can evil be reconciled with an all-powerful, all-loving God?

There are 130 articles by leading Christian thinkers answering these questions and more. A wonderful addition for the Bible student is the “twisted Scripture” sections that discuss various religious movements interpretations of passages where the interpretations are significantly different than historic Christian teachings.

I especially like the biographical sketches of some of the greatest Christian apologists like St. Augustine, Thomas Acquinas, Blaise Pascal (who was better known as a mathematician), and C.S. Lewis – along with a timeline for the apologists and their most notable works.

There are charts comparing naturalism with theism, a comparison of new religious movements, as well as a comparison of world religions. Included are five full-color maps and ten color charts.
