Jay Crawford has declared himself a "player" to be reckoned with. He moves to Washington, D.C. to find the only woman he has ever loved. Of course, he was married to Kenya, but that's another issue. While seeking the so-called woman of his dreams, he awakens to a new love in the person of Ashlee Anderson. Thus, his dream becomes his nightmare.

Chock full of raw sexuality and mental dueling, Carl Weber and Mary B. Morrison have woven a story of two people who are doomed to their own desires. Round and round they go, where they stop--only the brave should know. When Jay finds out that not only does Ashlee have a child that she hasn't told him about, but it is who she had the child by and for. This not only rocks his world, but sends him on a collision course that all but seals a fate of horror for him.

What keeps these two together is the sexual passion of their bodies and the mingling of their souls. Ashlee is determined to have Jay and he is determined to escape the throes of her psychotic madness. Does he find out too late that "She Ain't the One"? Take a leap into this abyss and find out. Yet, know it isn't for the faint at heart. Oh, but what a ride it is!
