"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Princess Madison is her own person. She's lively, curious and well-meaning, but sometimes she breaks the rules--big time.
Madison's father, the king, is going on a business trip and Madison helps him prepare. When they said good-bye to each other, the princess asked, "Daddy, how much do you love me? Her father answered as he always did, "My love for you is bigger than all the mountains in all the countries in the world..."
Well, Madison, being a curious princess, went to the archery range where she didn't follow directions. She was not supposed to shoot an arrow, but did anyway. The arrow didn't hit its mark and the little princess went to find it in the forest. She lost her way and became frightened--because she was lost and because she didn't follow directions. Princess Madison was sure her father, the king, would be angry and his love for her wouldn't be as big as all the mountains, but the size of an anthill.
When Madison is found, she learns a very valuable lesson about unconditional love.
Princess Madison and the Whispering Woods is a wonderful story for children that examines the love of God, even when we disobey. The illustrations are detailed and children will enjoy looking at them.
