Tayla Mancuso is a demon-slayer who hungers for pleasure—but fears it will always be denied her. That is, until she lands in a hospital run by demons in disguise, and the head doctor, Eidolon, makes her feel more sensual than she ever has before. But, in order to prove her loyalty to her coworkers in the demon-slaying business, she must betray the surgeon who saved her life.

Eidolon has made an amazing discovery, unknown to Tayla until later in the novel. Tayla is half demon and half demon-slayer. Which obviously puts her in the middle of two totally opposite enemies. On the slayer side, she has her peers pressuring her to lead them to the demonic hospital to get inside. On the demon side, she has the hot Dr. Eidolon wanting to bring out her demon side, which will eventually kill her if action isn’t taken quickly!

While all of this is going on, Tayla is trying to deny that she is falling for Eidolon, which she does a good job of as long as he isn’t around! The minute he show’s up she can hardly control her urges. Eidolon is also a sex demon that has the ability to have you ready to go in seconds! Unknown to Tayla, Eidolon also is battling with his own inner demons. He must find his perfect mate before a horrific transformation claims him forever. If this ritual isn’t completed soon he will turn into a monster that will eventually be killed by a jealous lover. Throw in another half demon, Gem, into the mix and you have a dark, sensual, and romantic mystery all rolled into one!

This being the first novel in a series, it really leaves you hungering for more! I will definitely be picking up the second book in the series when it comes out. It’s got everything you look for in a good Paranormal Romance—sex, mystery, love, betrayal and demon slaying.

I’d recommend this one to all of my friends! Two thumbs up along with a few fingers and toes for good measure!

Armchair Interviews says: This is a great start of a new series.
