The story takes place in Cascabel, Arizona in the Sonoran Desert. Nine members of a Wicca Cult are found dead and no one knows what happened to them. The local sheriff assumes it was a mass cult suicide and closes the case in one week.

When Jeremy Dawkins, an investigative reporter, comes to town, he discovers the cult might not have committed suicide. Something isn't right and Jeremy is determined to find out the truth.

Jeremy is 40 years old, divorced, lonely, and has nothing to lose. When his publisher for Crime Magazine in Los Angeles sends him to Arizona to investigate the mass suicide for an article, he jumps at the chance. Jeremy runs around town interviewing relatives of the nine deceased cult members. He comes up with an endless list of suspects and motives. No one is who they say they are, and no one can be trusted.

Jeremy puts his own life in danger by investigating the deaths of the nine cult members. Will he make it out alive? Did the Wicca followers kill themselves or was it murder? Jeremy must dig deep into the mysterious world of Wicca to find out. Will he loose his mind in the process or will he solve the case that the police neglected to solve? Read this book to find out.

You will become extremely immersed in this novel. This author has an outstanding flow to his writing. His characters are sincere people with honest faults. They come alive off the pages in the book. I will definitely be looking for more books by this very talented author.
