God tells Noah that a lot of rain is going to come on the earth–and so he has to make an ark. And in the ark he needs to place all kinds of animals like giraffes and lions and elephants and rats and birds. And after the flood, they all went outside and thanked God for keeping them safe.
Noah’s Ark is a very simple and cute retelling of the famous flood story in the Bible. It has got very simple language that is suitable for 4-year-olds and older. The illustrations are very neatly done. Children will enjoy touching and feeling the different textures of the animals and wildlife.
What I really enjoyed about the book is that even though there are words in the book, most of the story is told through illustrations. This means that those younger than age four can also “read” the book by looking at the pictures.
Noah’s Ark is a book that any child will enjoy reading again and again!
Armchair Interviews agrees.
