My Wicked Enemy by Carolyn Jewel is a sexy and thrilling book. Carson a witch who has been locked away and kept as nothing more than a slave to a powerful sorcerer, but now escapes from her captive into a world of demons. She finds herself in the middle of a war between the sorcerers and the demons of the world. Nikodemus, a demon whose goal has been to kill the witch, hunts her down only to find her innocent and clueless as to who she really is and the power she holds. A bond forms between these two enemies while they fight to bring down the evil sorcerer Magellan. Carson slowly discovers who she really is and what she wants from her life through her adventures with Nikodemus.

To be free and stop Magellan from killing and taking the powers of demons in order to become the most powerful sorcerer in the world, these two worlds collide and cooperate in a way they never had before. Full of interesting characters, fight scenes, magic, and sexuality, this book is a page turner. The relationship between Carson and Nikodemus is so full of lust and sexuality that it will make you burn up. It is exciting to watch as Carson grows into herself as a woman while she fights as a witch with the opposing side of demons, earning their trust and respect.

Carolyn Jewel does a good job of making the story and plot line easy for the reader to understand and plunge into without having to puzzle out this fantasy world.
