May Your Walls Know Joy is a lovely gift book that is about the comfort and safety and welcome that is “home.”
The artist in Mary Anne comes shining through in her beautiful art that is whimsical, designed to enhance her thoughts on each page.
The book is a celebration of your home–whether you moved in last week or thirty years ago.
My favorite thought was: “May home be the place from which you launch your dreams.”
The words are not typeset but in an elegant hand, a nice respite from common words in common type.
With financial problems related to homes these days, as well as the increasing homelessness of families, this book is a reminder that we are blest if we have a home that is a refugee from the world.
The author has also written Lean Forward Into Your Life (2007) and _Live Boldly (2008). She also conducts workshops on living a full, creative, balanced life–and she teaches Internet writing seminars.
