If you are constantly on the run, overwhelmed by children's needs, wants, and gets, then you need to pick up a copy of Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This. It's a completely fun book to teach you how to:

-- Set boundaries and achieve freedo
-- Choose contentmen
-- Carve out time to spend with friend
-- Get a grip on emotion
-- Find time--even five minutes--to be alone

Finding alone time is the most difficult for me to manage and I hope to give some of the author's ideas a try. While some of her ideas won't work for every family, some might.

Each chapter is short and easily read and ends with a discussion guide with four or five questions and lines for ease of answering. Some of the questions are really fun, and others require some thought.

If you are overwhelmed with your needy family, then pick up a copy of Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This and try to follow some of the suggestions to make time to get away with your girlfriends, husband, or by yourself.
