Meet five main characters: Luke, Gavin, Caleb, Emilia, and The Emperor of Ice Cream.

Luke is friends with Gavin and Caleb. He has a passion for snowboarding and has won many tournaments and awards. He is an art dealer in a museum.

Gavin likes to snowboard with his friends. He used to play basketball in school but gave it up to be a basketball coach for high school kids.

Caleb is attending school working towards his PhD in Theology. He is interning for Catholic Press Incorporated. He loves to snowboard with his friends. He is known to have visions similar to E.S.P.

Emperor of Ice Cream, a person known as this, is responsible for the killings. The Emperor of Ice Cream is actually an old poem about indulgence and Epicureanism.

Emilia has a degree in Woman’s Studies with a minor in Criminology. She receives a letter from her aunt Cynthia asking her to leave Illinois and move to North Dakota. Her aunt is dying from cancer and wants Emilia to help out. Emilia heads to North Dakota. She gets lost and her car stalls. She tries the cell phone but no signal and no houses in sight.

Caleb, Gavin, and Luke are headed to Luke’s house after snowboarding and find a car stranded on the side of the road. They find Emilia inside the car, unconscious. Now Emilia had lost an important piece of her memory. Can she find out what it is before it’s too late?

People are coming up missing in North Dakota, and no one knows that they are dead.

Find out who The Emperor of Ice Cream really is, why the killings are happening, and what pattern is used to kill people.

I thought this book was really good. I fell in love with the characters. I started reading and couldn’t put the book down it was so good. For anyone wanting to read a good thriller, I suggest this book.
