Like a Windy Day is a simple, yet fun story about a child sharing why the wind is important. It shares, in a cheerful manner, what the wind does when it blows in a cute little story sure to please most 3-to7-year olds.

My little girls gathered around to hear this tale, and it held their interest the whole way through. The pictures are colorful and will holds the children’s attention, as does the simple wording. They also liked the girl hidden in the wind in every picture.

Like a Windy Day wasn’t quite what I expected. I thought it would be more educational, telling young children a lot of information about the wind. Instead, the approach is non-threatening, friendly, and yet does manage to get the point across that the wind is an important part of our life.

Like a Windy Day is not to be missed. Pick this up for your favorite young child today.
