Without reading a single word, children and adult will LOVE the delightful soft illustrations that can tell a special story all alone.
Emit ("time" spelled backwards) is the elf who fell out of Santa's flying sled as he is helping deliver gift--up, up and away!
Emit falls "through time" and lands at other holidays throughout the year: Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter (great bunny drawings), birthdays, etc. Finally he reaches the Thanksgiving Day parade. There he finds Santa and his sleigh.
Santa reminds Emit he delivers more than just gifts--he delivers friends, family and the Christmas spirit.
Santa and his time-traveling friend remind us that "It's a message of goodness Santa sends."
Armchair Interviews says: Warm drawings of the holiday symbols and multicultural children bring fun to every page.
