Caprice Crane is also the author of Stupid and Contagious (see our review). If you haven’t read Stupid and Contagious, run, don’t walk, to your nearest bookseller and purchase it. Then sit back, turn the pages and laugh out loud. For a delightful romp into the imagination of this delightful author, follow your enjoyment with Forget About It.

Jordan Landau’s life is the ‘pits.’ It’s really her fault, but knowing that wouldn’t make things easier for her. She just naturally allows people to take advantage of her. She knows things have to change, she just doesn’t know how. But what she does know is that things are serious. She’s in a dead-end job with a psycho boss who steals all her ideas, she’s got a low-life, cheating boyfriend, a nasty sister anyone would like to punch in the nose, a mealy-mouthed stepfather and a mother who can only loosely be referred to as a mother (she calls Jordan fat)—and she’s up to her eyeballs in debt.

Jordan needs a new life. And she gets one. When she gets hit by a car, she fakes amnesia and turns her nothing life into a better job at the ad agency, dumps her boyfriend for a hunka, hunka burning love, and works on the family ‘issues.’ But there are some twists for Jordan, and her crazy plan takes a turn that almost assures her of a life that was worse than the one she left behind.

Forget About It is guaranteed to make you laugh. It’s a light, fast-paced romp in the life of a young woman who learns some valuable life lessons.

Armchair Interview says: A fun read.
