Edge of Danger is part of a series all coming out in the summer of 2006 (Edge of Darkness and Edge of Fear are the other titles). It is the story of the Edge brothers--Gabriel, Caleb and Duncan, Edge of Danger is the story of Gabriel and Dr. Eden Cahill.

The Edge boys are all cursed wizards with different talents. Gabriel lives in the family home, a Scottish castle built in the 1300s that was transported to Montana. They are all part of the paranormal division of T-FLAC, a counterterrorist organization. Brilliant Dr. Eden Cahill works in computers and robotics, and was part of Dr. Theo Kirchner's team, until he was murdered--and their robot Rex, and notes and records were all stolen.

Jason Verdine, the head of Verdine Industries, seems very concerned for Eden's safety, but does he really care about her, or just the work she can do for him? There are a few things that Eden has not told anyone: one is that she has a photographic memory and could easily rebuild the robot; the other is that the robot is totally indestructible and can only be destroyed by another robot.

Rex was designed to be used as a medic in war zones, or work with toxic chemicals or rescue people from fires. Who has stolen Rex? Will they realize the threat that Eden poses to their goals? In his work with T-FLAC, Gabriel Edge has been trying to get the information out of Eden so he can build another robot. Gabriel can make himself invisible, and usually he can read minds--but Eden has defenses that he cannot get through. He must try and get into her mind when her defenses are down, like when she is having an orgasm. He starts his attempts when she is sleeping in her Arizona apartment.

Eventually he realizes he must transport her to his family castle in Montana to keep her safe. He does care about her and is trying to resist her--for if she is his "lifemate," she will die--that is the family curse.

Armchair Interviews says: Wizards, curses, a steamy attraction, a brilliant doctor, a robot and terrorists create an edge-of-your-beach chair fun summer read.
