While in an Internet chat room, most people wonder what the person they are talking to looks like. Some people meet in person–and some have fallen in love and others have gotten a divorce because they should not have been in that chat room! All it takes is a few slips of the fingers, giving out too much information–and people can find you.

Fay, whose chat name is Ditzy, loves to relax from a hard day by sitting at her computer and talking in a chat room called Relationships. She has a few friends there and enjoys all the people. Her best friend in chat goes by the name Bunny. Fay has told Bunny a lot about herself–when she should not have. Bunny knows Fay’s real name, where she lives, and what her husband does for a living. So when Bunny brings up Fay’s real name in chat, Fay blows it off and decides she will ask her later not to do it anymore. Fay didn’t realize that anyone can find you with just a few details about yourself.

Ray, whose screen name is Champion, joins the Relationships’ chat room to hear a woman’s point of views. He is lonely and looking to meet women. He believes that all women in chat rooms are either lonely or in bad marriages.

Ray finds himself wanting to get to know Fay well. He wants to meet her in person and see what she looks like and who she really is. He tracks down Fay and ends up fascinated with her. He can’t seem to get her out of his mind.

Ray starts stalking Fay and then goes after her husband Jeff. Fay always believed she was in a good marriage, and all that was missing is children. Now all of a sudden there are problems in her marriage and secrets are being revealed. They are both being stalked but don’t know how to stop it. Just when things seem to be going good, something else would happen.

I really liked the characters in the book. I was drawn in and couldn’t put the book down. I really liked the plot and the way the surprises were thrown in unexpectedly.

Armchair Interviews says: Good advice for anyone in a chat room to protect your privacy.
