Cloth Paper Scissors Magazine
by: Quilting Arts, LLC
Reviewed by Andrea Sisco
The folks at Quilting Arts Magazine have recently launched a new magazine called Cloth Paper Scissors—and it is fantastic! They really have outdone themselves. Like Quilting Arts Magazine, the articles are well written and creative. The projects are often interchangeable between fabric and paper. There are articles on projects like altered luggage, weaving with metal and wire, watercolor techniques, felt making or Asian fabric books. And that would just be a beginning. The beautiful photographs jump out at you and beg to be made, tweaked or maybe just act as a catalyst for another project. Use your imagination.
Quilters, scrap bookers or card makers will absolutely love this magazine. It's really more of a book than magazine so you'll never throw it away. Cloth Paper Scissors is issued four times a year (April, July, October, January) and can be purchased fabric shops, quilt shops, grocery stores, drug stores or by contacting www.quiltingarts.com.
