Parents, and the toddlers to whom they read this adorable book, will find it similar to other nine Busy Books in this series. The outstanding photography, the simple yet funny and descriptive narrative and the book’s sturdy construction give the child a book of their very own.
A wonderful beginning for the toddler’s library; your child will have fun imitating chickens searching, peeking, walking, perching and more.
It’s hard to believe that a book ALL about chickens and only chickens can be interesting, but it was, and adults will learn as much as children about different kinds and colors of chickens. We learn about their activities and all this pecking around in the dirt. And, baby chicks are so darn cute, you’ll hear yourself saying, “Ahhhh.”
Armchair Interviews agrees.
