All I Want for Christmas ...

All I want for Christmas is...and for many of us, the next line is...my two front teeth. If I am dating myself, darn.

Since I read dozens of books just in 2008, so it is unlikely I'd want a book for Christmas. However, I have been known to buy a book now and then when it tickles my fancy (wherever that is).

What I want to Christmas is more good books -- and fewer books that the author scrimped when it came to editing, or the publisher really, really, really damaged the end product by not having it proofread carefully.

The best writer's success can be stonewalled by poor presentation.

AND we should be demanding only the best presentation possible. In a two week period, two authors said to us in different words: Can't your reviewers just look past the editing problems and errors and just comment on the storyline. Duh! The answer is NO! Heavens NO.

What a disservice that would be to our readers!

So if you are thinking of buying a book for someone for Christmas, check out our 48 generes and read a bunch of reviews to find just the right book. Our reviewers are honest about the storyline and the presentation.

Good writers, responsible reviewers = lots of choice for you.
